Hyperion 994CG – Compact Generator

The Hyperion 994CG Compact IML Generator is the first generator to be developed as part of the Hyperion range. Developed for the In Mould Labelling (IML) market, Meech has designed the 994CG to meet the growing demand for a compact, lightweight generator to fit on the end of a robot arm.

The 994CG is the only generator to feature 4 x 25kV outlets, allowing the coupling of Meech Hydras without the need for a splitter whilst still maintaining its compact dimensions. Powered by a 22-26VDC supply it is one of the most powerful compact IML Generators available.

Hyperion IonCharge30 (15W)

The new Meech Hyperion IonCharge30 is part of the new IonCharge family of static generators from Meech that includes the compact IonCharge30 and the larger higher powered IonCharge50.

IonCharge30 is designed for use across a range of common applications including pinning, bag making and card insertion. It uses advanced high voltage technology and software for a controlled static charge via our range of static generator bars and pinning heads. The static charge can be either positive or negative (model dependant) and is used to impart temporary bonding between materials, at least one of which is insulative.

The IonCharge30 provides independently selectable voltage and current and the inclusion of a colour touchscreen interface provides simple adjustment and clear display of settings.

The functionality and simple adjustment and control of the output voltage and current means that the IonCharge30 is extremely versatile and effective for a range of applications and materials.

Hyperion IonCharge50 (75W)

The new Meech Hyperion IonCharge50 is part of the new IonCharge family of static generators from Meech that includes IonCharge50 and the more compact IonCharge30.

IonCharge50 (75W) static generator is designed for a range of applications. It uses advanced high voltage technology and software for a controlled static charge via our range of static generator bars and pinning heads.

Meech Static Generator bars are designed to expel a controlled level of static charge to impart temporary bonding between materials.

993R Spark Free Generator Bar

The Meech Model 993R is a high performance generator bar for use with the Meech range of 30kV and 50kV high voltage DC static generators.

Resistively coupled emitter pins deliver smooth, controlled pinning whilst spark free operation avoids tripping out on intermittent applications.

In-Mould Labelling (IML) Systems

A versatile range of in-mould labelling (IML) systems. IML systems use controlled electrostatic processes in production to fuse pre-printed labels into moulded products. These techniques rely on precise control to achieve reliable results.

994 Hydra Static Pinner

The 994 Hydra Static Pinner is a static generation solution specifically designed for In-Mould Labelling (IML) applications where items with a small diameter are being moulded, for example yogurt pots or drinks containers, that require small pinning heads. Operating up to 20kV with power from a Meech 994 IML Static Generator, or 25kV with a Meech 994CG Compact Generator. As a result, the 994 Hydra Static Pinner ensures efficient label placement by securely pinning small objects to the surface using a static charge, improving process productivity and product quality in challenging moulding applications.

The 994 has a compact design for pinning of the smallest areas with accuracy and control. It is available in three sizes for varying intensities: 2-way, 4-way and 6-way, enabling multiple pinning points from a single static generator to accommodate various production requirements. Additionally, it offers flexibility through two cable configuration options: silicone pinner cables or TV20 pinner cables, depending on your application needs. Furthermore, the distributor is resistively coupled ensuring safe, shockless pinning and provides independent operation of the pinning heads.

994 Hydra Static Pinners are used in a wide range of industries such as printing, packaging and plastics.

Finally, for applications where space is even more limited, the 994 Hydra Static Pinner is also available in a miniature version. The 994 Hydra Compact Static Pinner provides the same efficient performance in an ultra-compact, space-saving form.

994 IML Static Generator

The 994-IML Static Generator has been designed after consultation with “In Mould Labelling” OEM’s. The criteria they laid down was that the unit needed to be compact, light & reasonably priced.

The Meech 994-IML provides 0-20kV, Negative polarity, in a lightweight package with connections to suit the Meech Hydra IML pinning system.

994CG Remote Setpoint Controller

The Remote Setpoint Controller (RSC) provides a simple method of generating the 4-20mA control signal to set the output voltage of the 994CG Compact Generator. Connected in line with the power supply to the 994CG, the RSC has a recessed potentiometer that allows manual adjustment of the output voltage from 4-25kV.

Pinning Heads

Meech Pinning Heads provide effective localised static generation pinning. This is ideal for specific area applications.

995 Claw Style Edge Pinning

The 995 Edge Pinning Claw is a powerful pinning head intended for use on cast-film lines. Pinning the edges of the cast film to the chill roller prevents necking of the film.  Resistively coupled titanium pins deliver spark free pinning.

The 995-CLAW can be powered from either our 30kV or 50kV range of IonCharge Static Generators.

The 995 range of Pinning Heads have been designed for use with all Meech static generators*. All can be operated at up to 50kV and being resistively coupled, are near shockless in normal operation.

*Three sizes cover lengths 65mm, 107mm and 144mm.
